In the vast global music landscape, Alessio Menconi stands out as one of the most active and appreciated guitarists in the contemporary scene, and the words and praises of masters like John McLaughlin, Pat Martino, and Robben Ford testify to his mastery.

'His guitar has resonated in theaters and jazz festivals in over 40 countries, spanning all continents and has recorded over 50 albums.'

He has collaborated with various musicians such as Billy Cobham, Jimmy Cobb, Paolo Conte, Jeff Berlin and many others.

In 2012, he was included as the only Italian in a compilation attached to La Stampa titled "The Greatest Guitarists in the World" and is featured in a compilation as the only Italian alongside Steve Lukather, Larry Coryell, Robben Ford, Hiram Bullock.

He is a professor with a chair in jazz guitar at the "N. Paganini" conservatory in Genoa and active with AMG - Alessio Menconi Guitar Institute.

From 2024, the English luthier Fibonacci will market a signature archtop guitar model in his name.
