Alfredo Golino, Neapolitan by birth and of musical background, in the sense that Naples has always been the mother of the Italian rhythmic nature and has gifted, thanks to its deep musical tradition, high-level artistic talents.
Under the guidance of his father and teacher Antonio Golino, Alfredo embarked on his career very early; by the age of 17, he had already accumulated significant experiences, first at the NATO base in Naples where all the most important artists from America would arrive, then hired for various RAI productions in Naples and included in the orchestra where conductors and masters whose names have made the history of Italian music alternated, and who, having identified his talent, made him their own.
From this moment on, Alfredo collects a series of experiences, collaborations, and participations that will lead him to become one of the most significant and important Italian musicians.
At 18, Alfredo leaves Naples for Rome, where he is requested by Armando Trovaioli, who involves him in all his Rai productions, both film and music. In the meantime, he is noticed by the Roman music scene and begins his collaborations with RCA and Rai, which hires him for a long series of music productions and concerts.
In 1980, he won the competition to join the Rai orchestra in Milan, a city to which he moved. In Milan, Alfredo was immediately recognized as a musician of great value and versatility; in fact, in addition to his commitment to the Rai orchestra, broadcasts, concerts with the greatest conductors and international jazz musicians, he took part in jazz formations that would place him among the most valuable jazz musicians at the European level.
In parallel, his great recording experience also begins in Milan; from this moment on, Alfredo will participate in the biggest Italian recording successes, both as a musician and as a co-producer and co-arranger.
In 1989 he leaves Rai because his career begins to open up to European engagements, leading to various international tours with jazz and fusion ensembles, tours with artists, etc., which will definitively establish him as an internationally renowned musician, and from there the various sponsorships at a global level with the biggest manufacturers in the musical instrument industry.
In 1990, he formed the "GIULIA COMBO" together with his wife, Giulia Fasolino, and with Matteo Fasolino, Charlie Cinelli, and Gogo Ghidelli. They will produce an album that will achieve good success with critics and the public; the group disbanded after 2 years.
In 1994, the formation of the "ORO" led them to "Sanremo giovani" as winners and to "Sanremo"; the group achieved good success that would lead to 2 Italian tours.
In 1996, Alfredo leaves the group. His collaboration with Giulia Fasolino, Charlie Cinelli, and Gogo Ghidelli continues, and together they found "CAMBIOMUSICA", a music school and publishing house, which will achieve excellent results at both the editorial and educational levels. "CAMBIOMUSICA" becomes a publisher and co-publisher of great Italian and international artists (MINA, CELENTANO, RENATO ZERO, MONICA NARANJO, etc...), and the school produces students who enter the Italian music scene, both in the recording industry and in jazz formations and tours (883, RAF, DE GREGORI, ANTONELLA RUGGERO, FINARDI, FIORELLO, GIANLUCA GRIGNANI, ELISA, CIFFARELLI, etc...).
An important moment is the collaboration with Eros Ramazzotti, Alfredo participates in his albums and in two of his most successful world tours.
For Alfredo with Mina, an important chapter opens professionally, both as a musician and as a publisher and arranger, and this leads to a beautiful collaboration with Massimiliano Pani, Mina's son, producer, and arranger, with whom he establishes a working relationship alongside Giulia Fasolino that will lead them to create national and international productions.
For the "CAMBIOMUSICA" with Bruno Zucchetti and Giulia Fasolino, a production team has recently been created that, in its first year of existence, has produced and realized the latest CD of Monica Naranjo, a very famous Spanish artist in her country, which is about to be released worldwide with Sony Music, featuring internationally renowned producers (Sam and Luis-Anastasia, Greg Alexander, Brian Rawlin-Cher).
This production team is collaborating with the major labels of the international music industry.
Alfredo Golino has received various awards, including the Telegatto as the best musician, two Gold records as a Producer and arranger, and as an artist, several awards from specialized music organizations, and also a GRAMMY Award in 2001 as a musician for his participation in the album by Alejandro Sanz, a Spanish artist with over 10 million records sold worldwide.
Alfredo Golino can be confidently defined as a complete musician who, thanks to his great talent and professionalism, has given so much to music, always approaching any type of experience with great humility, love, and curiosity, without limitations of musical genres, with a great open-mindedness that has allowed him to sow and then justly reap respect and sincere admiration from all those who have had the fortune to work with him. This enables him to have the qualities and characteristics to transmit to those younger than him a wealth of preparation and enthusiasm for this profession, which will help him face his future, both technically and emotionally.
