DISCOVER THE COURSE
Alberto Lombardi is an internationally renowned solo acoustic fingerstyle and electric rock guitarist, as well as a singer-songwriter and record producer.
As an acoustic soloist, he was on tour with Tommy Emmanuel in 2022, but also with some of the most influential acoustic guitarists of our time, such as Peter Finger, Muriel Anderson, and Tim Sparks, to name a few.
As a singer-songwriter, he released his third rock album Home, mixed by the legendary sound engineer of Bruce Springsteen and the Rolling Stones, Bob Clearmountain. The album also features the original singers of the group Chic, Norma Jean Wright and Luci Martin, with whom Alberto has toured several times.
Incorporating fingerpicking, flatpicking, a bit of looping, improvisation, and singing, Alberto is able to transform a single guitar into an orchestra, singing and playing solos with an electric guitar sound... in acoustic!
In January 2020, Lombardi embarked on his first solo tour in the United States, and also performed at major festivals both in Europe and the USA. He has performed for prestigious institutions such as the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust for Memorial Day and for the Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles.
Lombardi was listed among the 8 guitarists to watch in 2018 by Vintage Guitar Magazine and among the 10 best new acoustic guitarists in the world by Guitar Masters Poland 2017.
As a teacher, Alberto has published four educational videos under the guitar videos label of Stefan Grossman, teaching some of his most popular arrangements and some creative guitar techniques.
In 25 years of career, he has worked with the major Italian artists as a session player and record producer/arranger/mixer. He manages his recording studio called "Belairstudio" in Rome, Italy.
Lombardi is an artist supported by Maton Guitars, B&G guitars, Kyser capos, and Fred Kelly picks.
