COURSE DETAILS
The guitar course curated by Enrico Santacatterina and Alberto Lombardi offers a unique and engaging approach, designed for musicians of all levels.
"The lessons in which the two musicians confront each other not only allow you to learn new techniques, but also, and above all, to understand and categorize what you may already know how to do, but have never named, enriching your musical awareness."
The course begins with an introduction to rhythmic guitar, where basic techniques are learned and how to create effective grooves is discovered. Next, it moves on to fundamental chords and harmonic progressions, essential for building a solid musical foundation. Strumming techniques are explored in detail, improving the coordination between the right and left hands.
Arpeggios and fingerpicking are covered in depth, introducing participants to a more melodic and articulated way of playing. Scales and improvisation represent another focal point of the course, providing the foundations for creating solos and personal improvisations. Additionally, space is dedicated to the use of effects for the guitar, such as delay, reverb, and overdrive, and how to integrate them into one's sound.
The course continues with advanced techniques of rhythmic guitar, including syncopations, changes in tempo, and the use of dynamics to enrich the accompaniment. Coordination exercises are essential for improving performance accuracy.
Finally, the participants are guided in the development of their musical style, combining all the techniques learned during the course.
"You've been playing for a while but you constantly feel "behind" compared to others because of your theoretical and technical vocabulary? This course is perfect for you!"

As an acoustic soloist, he was on tour with Tommy Emmanuel in 2022, but also with some of the most influential acoustic guitarists of our time, such as Peter Finger, Muriel Anderson, and Tim Sparks, to name a few.
As a singer-songwriter, he released his third rock album Home, mixed by the legendary sound engineer of Bruce Springsteen and the Rolling Stones, Bob Clearmountain. Incorporating fingerpicking, flatpicking, a bit of looping, improvisation, and singing, Alberto is able to transform a single guitar into an orchestra, singing and playing solos with an electric guitar sound... in acoustic!
In January 2020, Lombardi embarked on his first solo tour in the United States, and also performed at major festivals both in Europe and the USA. He has performed for prestigious institutions such as the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust for Memorial Day and for the Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles.
