Graduated in saxophone from the "L. Refice" Conservatory of Music in Frosinone with top marks.
In 1996 he won the Massimo Urbani Award and the following year the Europe Jazz Contest, receiving recognition in Belgium as best soloist and his quartet as best group.
In 2000, he won the Top Jazz award in the new talents category and in 2010 as best saxophonist of the year, ranking first in the annual referendum of the specialized magazine Musica Jazz.
He also won the Jazz It Awards in 2010 and 2013 as best alto saxophonist. During the 2019 edition of Umbria Jazz, he was awarded the title of Ambassador of Umbria in the world.
Numerous and prestigious are his collaborations in the field of jazz, where he has worked alongside prominent musicians such as Charlie Haden, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Phil Woods, Enrico Pieranunzi, Enrico Rava, Franco D’Andrea, Martial Solal, Jeff “Tain” Watts, Mark Turner, Kurt Elling, Fabrizio Bosso, Bob Mintzer, Joe La Barbera, Joe Locke, John Patitucci, Cedar Walton, André Ceccarelli, Daniel Humair, Biréli Lagrène, Philip Catherine, Sylvain Luc, Marc Johnson, Joey Baron, Guy Barker, Stefano Bollani, Jean-Michel Pilc, Richard Galliano and many others.
Giuliani, appreciated by the international audience, is constantly engaged in numerous concert events both in Italy and abroad, performing at the most important festivals in the world.
Since 2013, he has been a saxophone teacher at the Jazz Department of the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome and at the Saint Louis College of Music in Rome.
