The guitar course curated by Edoardo Taddei is a deep dive into the advanced techniques that define the shred style, although each technique is obviously usable in any other musical genre.
Designed for intermediate and advanced guitarists who aspire to elevate their instrumental mastery, the course is structured through 11 detailed video lessons. Edoardo guides students to gain precise control of the right hand, the importance of an optimal left hand position to maximize extension and agility, and among other techniques, he delves into the art of "pickslanting" for smooth and fast string changes.
The course also delves into economy picking and obviously sweep picking, a milestone of the shred style, with targeted strategies to enrich the arpeggios.
Edoardo also introduces the concept of "endless sweep picking", a technique that eliminates internal picking for fluid and continuous sequences.
The course then covers the essential technique of hybrid picking, starting with the use of just the middle finger and progressing to the inclusion of the ring finger.
Finally, the course culminates in the application of all the techniques learned, combining hybrid and sweep picking across various scales to create engaging and technically impressive musical phrases.

EDWARD TADDEI
Edoardo Taddei is a young guitarist from Rome, a solo artist and a member of Master Boot Record.
He started performing live with many bands and in the summer of 2017 he founded his personal project. He has performed at the most important music shows in Italy: SHG in Milan, Musika in Rome, Guitar Show in Padua.
On February 28, 2020, he released his first solo album "Nemesis". The album was recorded in June 2019 with David Folchitto on drums, Paolo Campitelli on keyboards, and Marco Mastrobuono on bass, mixing, and mastering. The album is dedicated to Jason Becker and includes a rearrangement of Primal (Perspective).
In April 2021, he launched a crowdfunding campaign for his new album "Timeglass", which was released on May 16, 2022.
He also works as a guitar teacher, transcriber, and session musician.
In February 2023, they went on a European headlining tour with the Master Boot Record. Their second tour will start in November 2023.
